charles sturt ag students visit trigger vale

Trigger Vale was the first stop of the Charles Sturt University Agricultural Students two day tour of the Riverina. They were a very diverse group from all over the eastern states plus many masters students were visiting from overseas (Iran, Sudan and India).

Andrew gave them an overview of Trigger Vales prominence in the Sheep sector and how  his Nuffield findings lead him down the path of increased Fat & Muscle = Lamb Survival in Merinos. He especially stressed the importance of using modern technologies available to enhance the information you are able to obtain from your sheep. (Sheep  Genetics) Sheep are like a bottle of wine it is what is inside that you can’t see that is ás important as the packaging. Its not just the pretty label.
